NICA Global Resources Limited is one of the Sixteen (16) pioneering vendors considered for participation and the implementation of the first phase of the Tractor Hiring Service Delivery (THSD) programme for the year 2008, which will spill over to the 2009 cropping season.

NICA has entered into a partnership agreement with the Federal Government of Nigeria in this regard. This is evidenced in the recent partnership agreement entered into and signed with the FGN, via the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources (FMAWR), and under the supervision of the National Food Reserve Agency (NFRA), to participate in the implementation of the Tractor hiring service delivery programme nationwide, through a Public Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement.

NICA Global Resources is renowned for her vast knowledge, experience, expertise and understanding in the area of agro-allied input, machinery, service supply and management, an attribute which they will bring to play particularly in the area of implementation of the THS programme.

Due to our competence and demonstrated experience, one of the vendors that was considered for the THS programme by the FMAWR - Messrs North Ocean Engineering Limited has offered to partner with NICA on the execution of its allocation under the aforementioned scheme. The partnership agreement was duly executed in a joint venture agreement, which was signed and sealed with the company.

Hence, NICA’s partnership with Messrs North Ocean Engineering Limited for the implementation of the FGN THSD has strengthened its slots in the programme nationwide, consolidating the entire contract sum into a $10 Million dollars project.

NICA’s expertise is demonstrated in her ability to organize the farmers into cooperative groups, setting up administrative structures for them, training and monitoring the performance of both technical and administrative personnel, and above all, bridging their financing gap by providing loan syndication services.
